PROJECT ANNOUNCED FOR FEMALE STUDENTS IN STEM
Under the initiative of the Vietnam Energy Efficiency Network #EENVietnam and supported by the Goethe-Institut Hanoi, the She4Future project aims to promote a generation of confident and talented women in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (#STEM) in Vietnam.
The #She4Future project is developed in response to the current situation in Vietnam where there is a lack of female participation in STEM. This is mainly due to the influence of #gender stereotypes that exist within families, schools, and society.
EEN-Vietnam firmly believes that breaking gender stereotypes requires not only efforts to remove barriers present in society but also the cultivation of self-confidence within each individual woman. It aims to inspire and share the common challenges faced by the female STEM community.
ACTIVITIES 2023 – 2024
Breaking gender stereotypes, building confidence for women in STEM through a series of articles
Breaking wrong gender stereotypes in the STEM industry will help women correctly understand the profession and their abilities when pursuing careers in these fields. From there, promote and increase their participation in STEM careers. At that time, having a significant presence of women in the STEM industry will partly help change society's perspective and inspire and trust women in the next generations.
