The project “Optimization of Built Environment in Neighbourhood Scale” was established in cooperation between National University of Civil Engineer (NUCE), KU Leuven and Vietnam Sustainability Social Enterprise (VSSE). It is supported by the KU Leuven "Global Minds" programme – funded by the Belgian federal government through VLIR-UOS.

The project focus includes research and discovery of problems related to the quality of the built environment in Vietnam and Belgium. Methods of implementation include surveys, interviews and data collection in two countries. At the same time, the project connects with experts and related civil society organizations to contribute to the development of the toolkit digitalization in the next phases.
